The Red Planet
Date: MARCH 2010
Project: The Red Planet
Client: More Proof
Role: Art Direction, VJ, Live Visuals
Description: For More Proof's: The Red Planet, I made various space themed animations mixed with pre existing footage. Below are two animations made in After Effects.
The examples below are segments of footage which were manipulated in real-time. With the following content I had more time to experiment with the overlapping of four videos playing simultaneously Click here to view more footage I captured from the event
An example of 4 video segments sycned to BMP and being faded in progressively over time by the AKAI MPD32.
1st segment (swtich): has a color-duotone behaviour is triggered by an osculator.
2nd (Space): Vertical axis is triggered by an input band-frequncy
3rd (Radar): MIDI controlled by the AKAI MPD32
4th (Pupil): MIDI controlled by the AKAI MPD32
An Exanple of RGB Delay manipulation done through a plug-in and controlled by the AKAI MPD32 to trigger the wet/dry fader.
In this case the Vertical Axis is responsive to the behaviour of an Osculator waveform.
